LONGENY launches truGut360 gut microbiome test in India

The solution is developed with scientific support from MyBioma

LONGENY has announced the launch of truGut360™, a gut microbiome analysis test developed with scientific support from Austria-based MyBioma. The precision-health startup stated that the offering is intended to support personalised preventive care in India.

According to LONGENY, truGut360™ analyses microbial diversity, inflammation markers, digestion metrics, metabolic pathways, immune–gut interactions, and early indicators linked to long-term disease risk.

LONGENY noted that individuals experiencing bloating, acidity, fatigue, symptoms linked to PCOS, thyroid irregularities, autoimmune concerns, or unexplained inflammation often lack clarity on contributing biological factors. The company stated that the test is positioned to address this gap through a structured analysis framework.

The company referenced data indicating that one in three individuals in India reports weekly digestive discomfort and over 135 million individuals live with metabolic disease.

LONGENY stated that truGut360™ is designed to function as an at-home tool supported by sequencing-based technology and an AI-driven reporting structure. The report provides information linked to personalised nutrition, digestion, metabolic efficiency, immunity, inflammation, hormone regulation, and energy levels.

Anil K.C, Founder and CEO of LONGENY, said, “India is in the middle of a health crisis that most people don’t recognise. Gut dysfunction is driving everything from low energy to hormonal instability to severe metabolic disease, yet it remains invisible in routine check-ups. truGut360™ makes the invisible visible. When individuals understand what’s happening inside their gut, they finally get the clarity and direction needed to take control of their health today, not years later.”

Dr. Nikolaus Gasche, Co-founder and Managing Director, MyBioma, said, “The gut microbiome is a central regulator of long-term health. With truGut360™, people across India can now access advanced microbial insights that were once limited to specialised research centres. This represents an important shift toward personalised, proactive health management.”

LONGENY stated that the launch aligns with rising demand for personalised diagnostics, preventive health solutions, and microbiome-guided care approaches.
