The extract is recognised under Patent No. 499416 in India
Botanic Healthcare has announced the commercial launch of CornFit, a patented extract derived from cornsilk. The extract is recognised under Patent No. 499416 by the Government of India.
According to the company, CornFit is developed through a proprietary extraction process intended to support use in dietary supplement formulations. Botanic Healthcare stated that the extract is suitable for metabolic health products, herbal supplements, and functional nutrition applications across global markets.
The company reported that 189.567 metric tons of sweet cornsilk have been processed through its procurement and extraction programme. Botanic Healthcare stated that the initiative has prevented an estimated 313.07 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.

Botanic Healthcare stated that the company operates six manufacturing facilities and exports to over 75 countries. CornFit will be available for global B2B formulations in capsule, tablet, powder, and liquid extract formats.
