Nutrify Today C-Suite Sumflex 2026 brings together 150+ industry leaders in Mumbai

Fifth edition hosts discussions on nutrition, regulation, investment, formulation science and metabolic health, while debuting The Master Formulator Show

The fifth edition of Nutrify Today’s C-Suite Sumflex concluded at Trident Oberoi, Mumbai, on June 5, bringing together more than 150 C-suite leaders from the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory bodies, venture capital firms, ingredient science and technology companies. Held on June 4 and 5, the summit focused on the role of responsible nutrition and pathways for scaling it through science, investment, regulation and technology.

According to Nutrify Today, the platform has evolved from a dialogue among Indian stakeholders into a forum bringing together participants from across the health economy and value chain.

Participants included representatives from pharmaceutical companies such as Novo Nordisk, MSD, Mankind Pharma, Torrent Pharma, Dr Reddy’s–Nestlé Health Science, Reckitt and Sanofi. Regulatory and policy organisations represented included FSSAI, FDA Maharashtra, the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance and OPPI. Investors including Fireside Ventures and PeakBridge VC also participated, alongside ingredient companies such as Arjuna Natural, Greenspace Herbs and Zeon Lifesciences. Delegates from the United States, the Middle East and Uzbekistan attended the event.

The agenda included sessions on GLP-1 therapies, obesity and metabolic control, counterfeit nutrition, women-led wellness brands and artificial intelligence-led commercialisation. Nutrify Today also showcased demonstrations of its generative artificial intelligence platform.

The summit was hosted by Amy Summers, Founder and President of Pitch Publicity and INICIVOX; actor and wellness expert Mandira Bedi; Danielle Masterson of NutraIngredients; and Medhavi Srivastava of Nutrify Today.

The event also marked the introduction of The Master Formulator Show, sponsored by Greenspace Herbs. The format focused on formulation science and highlighted the role of scientists in developing products based on botanical ingredients.

Shafiulla Hirehal Nuruddin, Managing Director, Greenspace Herbs, said, “The Master Formulator Show put the scientist back at the centre of the industry, where they belong. Formulation is where credibility is either earned or lost, and backing a first-of-its-kind format like this was an easy decision for us. India’s botanical edge will only become global brands if we celebrate the people who can turn a plant into a proven product.”

Reflecting on the summit’s development, Amit Srivastava, Founder and Chief Catalyst, Nutrify Today, said, “When we started, the Indian nutraceutical industry didn’t have a room of its own. Five editions later, it has a global one. Sumflex was never meant to be just an event; it was meant to be the table where science, capital, regulation, and the market sit together and decide. If Davos is where the world’s economy meets, this is fast becoming where the world’s nutrition economy chooses to meet.”

Vikrant Shrotriya, Managing Director, Novo Nordisk India, said, “GLP-1 therapies are reshaping the global conversation around obesity, metabolic health, and chronic disease management. As healthcare evolves, nutrition is becoming an essential partner in improving patient outcomes, supporting adherence, and enabling long-term health transformation. I am pleased to see NutrifyToday C-Suite Sumflex bringing together leaders from pharma, nutrition science, industry, and policy to address these critical intersections and advance a more integrated approach to preventive and metabolic healthcare.”

The Mumbai edition followed the launch of Nutrify Today Eurasia Sumflex in Tashkent in May. According to the organisers, the event attracted nearly 3,000 participants and positioned Uzbekistan as a responsible nutrition corridor into the CIS region.

H.E. Abdulla Azizov, Chairman of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency and First Deputy Minister of Health, Ministry of Health, Republic of Uzbekistan, said, “Uzbekistan sees responsible nutrition as a bridge, not a border. The corridor we opened in Tashkent and the dialogue here in Mumbai are two ends of the same ambition, an investment-ready, evidence-led health ecosystem connecting India, Eurasia and the world.”

According to Nutrify Today, Mumbai and Tashkent now form part of a connected international calendar, with additional editions planned in other markets.
