Steadfast Nutrition, a sports and wellness nutrition brand, has announced the launch of its latest supplement, SteadShilajit Gold. The product is a combination of shilajit, Swarna Vark (24K gold), and herbs including ashwagandha, kali musli, and gokhru. The launch aligns with a broader shift towards traditional medicine-inspired formulations in India’s nutraceutical sector.
The product has been developed to address increasing consumer interest in natural supplements that support vitality, energy levels, fatigue reduction, and fitness. According to the company, SteadShilajit Gold contains 75 per cent fulvic acid, one of the highest concentrations currently available in the market. Fulvic acid is a naturally occurring compound in shilajit and contributes to several of its properties.
Speaking about the launch, Aman Puri, Founder of Steadfast Nutrition, said,
“Ayurvedic formulations would play a key role in promoting health and wellness in the coming decade. With this launch, we want to tap into India’s rich tradition of alternative medicines and herbs and incorporate these science and research-backed herbs in our products as an effective solution for various health problems. SteadShilajit Gold is a potent and very safe dietary supplement. Each ingredient is backed by research for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Shilajit is backed by science as a ‘revitalizer’ that promotes physical and mental energy, enhances physical performance, and relieves fatigue. It has been known and used for centuries by Ayurvedic medicine, as a rejuvenator and as an antiageing compound. The combination of shilajit and ashwagandha is highly effective since both are known for their ability to reduce fatigue and stress levels and improve stamina, muscle strength, and cognitive function. Kali Musli (Curculigo orchioides) and Gokhru are adaptogens known for their rejuvenating properties, while gold has been revered in Ayurvedic traditions for its ability to boost immunity, enhance vitality, reduce inflammation, and support overall well-being.”
The formulation includes 850 mg of shilajit, 60 mg of ashwagandha, 45 mg of kali musli, 45 mg of gokhru, and 0.2 mg of gold. The shilajit used in the product is purified using the Śodhana process, an Ayurvedic detoxification method for mineral-based substances. This process involves boiling Triphala with water, dissolving raw shilajit in the mixture, and filtering it through muslin cloth to remove impurities. The filtered mixture is then heated at a high temperature and stirred for hours to neutralise remaining toxins. The resulting purified compound is tested to ensure quality.
The shilajit in SteadShilajit Gold has also been verified by an independent external laboratory, and the raw material is sourced from the Himalayas.
